TODAY IS LIMERICK DAY

Today is Limerick Day. This distinctive verse form was made popular by Edward Lear and got its name from the city of Limerick in Ireland. Limericks are known for their unique metre and rhyming style (AABBA). For five hundred or so years, people have enjoyed making up the silly rhymes. Here's a silly limerick that explains why you should consider using an architect when building a home:

Building a home -- your head it does confuse,
Too many rules you must peruse.
You want to be in vogue,
But you don't know building code.
So that means an architect you must use.

It sounds much better if you say it in Yoda's voice.
